Standing out!

One of the most embarrassing things as a believer is missing that mark of distinction. Yes, I know that you’ve read books and heard preachers say nothing really changes physically when you are born again. But believe me ‘something’ I can’t put in words changes. People will see something different in you. If you are a Christian and never heard people say you’ve changed, you have every reason to start worrying. If you have Jesus and strongly believe in Him, He will definitely manifest in you. Not necessarily physically, though that will inevitably transpire in no time.

Transformation begins inside out. Your spirit will influence your mortal bodies. I know you may be thinking like I once thought, but watch this space. Ever heard of a saying that ‘we are a product of our thoughts’? Believe me – you are what you think! Once you realize what Romans 8:11 says, you will know what I mean. The mind stores up everything you choose to feed it on and the moment you program it to take in only what is in line with what you want (what the word of God says), it will only reproduce that. That is why it is so important to change your mindset. Change it to think of no impossibility; just imagine that the same spirit that overcame death through Jesus, is at work in your MORTAL body right now! That means what is within works to manifest itself outside for men to see.

You cannot be born again and still think like you used to. Whether you like it or not, your talking will change too and so will all your mannerisms. What used to make sense no longer will. That’s just the simple truth. How can you be the same knowing you have God’s ability within you? If you truly believe you are a manifestation of God’s glory, you’re your dressing will change! You are a ‘god’. You represent Him here on earth so you’ll want to reflect Him the best way possible. This is the reason why you should raise eyebrows if nobody has ever told you that you have changed! It means you are just saved but are not sure whether to leave your old ways or not. To see this truth and hence enter into it is indeed a wonderful thing.

Stand out brethren!
